Kidney Dialysis
There has been a dramatic rise in the number of kidney patients in coastal area. Dialysis has become out of reach for poor patients on account of its high cost. In order to assist such patients, we took up the task of providing dialysis services. With the sponsorship of KKMA, we were able to set up two dialysis machines in Mangalore, initially. Alhamdulillah, with generous help from donors we now have a total of seven dialysis machines spread over Mangalore and Udupi. It has been planned to extend the facility to all taluk centres. We also have plans to create awareness on prevention of kidney disease.
Medical Camps
Jamiyyatul Falah has given equal importance in providing medical services to the rural poor. We have been organising Medical Camps, Eye Check-ups, Blood Donation Camps, Sunnat camps and Health Awareness Campaigns. Thousands of people cutting across caste barriers are availing the benefits of these camps. Besides, we run our own clinic and provide ambulance and mobile clinic service in Udupi. we also provide health cards to the needy through Fr Muller and Yenepoya Hospital.
